A key benefit for me was learning the early signs and how to lend a hand when needed.

I believe the Mental Health First Aider course has contributed to creating a more supportive and open workplace culture as It gave me the confidence to speak to my colleagues and check in with them because I know I will be able to offer them the right support should they need it.
